Student Workshops
Growing in your grounds
Growing Projects can be run in your school, whatever size and type of grounds you have. Inspiring Outdoors can help to set one up, including designing your growing space, training your staff or directly gardening with your students. Funding from Ernest Cook Trust or other funders may be able to support this work.
Nature Explorers
Whether for a one-off day or for a series of weekly activities, a programme can be designed to fulfill any of the environmental units of the curriculum, or to open your students' eyes to the world around them.
Marine Exploration
As former Marine Biologist and Head of Centre at Gibraltar Point NNR, Kim Hudson, lead of Inspiring Outdoors, is well placed to help you get the most out of your coastal visits. We can offer a range of bespoke A-level, GCSE, Key Stage 3 and primary programmes to meet your needs. We also work with partners Coastal Classroom in North Devon and Nature Days on Gower, Wales. Get in touch to find out more.
Experiential Science
We are passionate that science should be exciting, engaging and inspirational. It should encourage critical and scientific thinking, and help students consider the world around them and how it all works.
We offer interactive workshops in using your building, grounds, local area or a site near you. We also offer CPD and creative science curriculum development.
Wild Child Experience
Allow your students to enjoy the great outdoors with the Wild Child Experience
Woodland exploring activities - the possibilities are endless and can be curriculum linked or just to develop a sense of well-being connecting with nature and each other.
