Time to Grow
Companionship through gardens, nature and gentle support

What we offer
We help older people and those less able to enjoy their gardens and the natural world around them.
Whether you’d like friendly company while choosing plants, planting pots, visiting a garden centre, or simply spending time outdoors, we’re here to support you — at your pace, with respect and warmth.
This isn’t a standard gardening service — it’s about shared time, meaningful conversation, and supporting you to stay connected to nature and your treasured outdoor spaces.

How we support you
We offer:
-
One-to-one companionship
-
Garden visits and outings
-
Garden centre trips and plant choosing
-
Potting up and planting together
-
Gentle outdoor conversations and connection
We work with you — not for you — growing confidence, connection and wellbeing through nature because your garden and your independence matter.

The cost
Time to Grow is a companionship service, with support shaped around each individual.
Sessions are as long as you need and can include relaxing in the garden, gardening alongside each other, gentle outdoor activities, or local outings to gardens, garden centres or natural spaces.
Because everyone's needs are different, we offer a free in-person initial conversation to explore what support you would like.
Pricing is hourly at £15 - £20 depending on the activity (gardening tasks at the higher rate), with flexible booking options (regular visits or occasional sessions).
During our time together, you may choose to travel somewhere, enjoy refreshments, visit somewhere with an entrance fee or make a purchase. These additional costs are paid for by you so you're always in control of what you spend.
